Review methodology

Our testing team follows the same sequence for every featured product.

• Order and timing. We place the order, timestamp it, and record the agent's first reply, QC photo turnaround and dispatch date.
• QC review. We request detail photos of stitching, labels, soles and hardware, then compare them against the listing images.
• Shipping comparison. We weigh the parcel and compare the delivered cost and transit days against at least two alternative lines.
• Bench inspection. Packaging, contents, materials and measurements are recorded with calipers and a flat tape.
• Fit and use checks. Apparel is measured flat and worn by the closest match on our three-person panel; hard goods get a set handling period.
• Scoring. We score criteria such as material accuracy, construction, fit consistency, agent communication and landed value, then combine them into one five-point score from 4.0 to 5.0.

Comparison tables carry the raw notes so readers can see which criterion moved a product up or down a shortlist.
